The end of manhood is drawing near. A looming crisis of fertility lies ahead.
its a concern that many may already be aware of, as it’s reflected in the behavior of men online and beyond: testosterone levels in men have been on a significant decline. For example, studies have shown that a 65 yo man in 2002 had testosterone levels approximately 15 percent lower than a 65 yo in 1987. this decline also meant a greater proportion of men had below normal testosterone levels in 2002 compared to 1987

This downward trend in testosterone can influence various aspects of men’s behavior and identity. it could be linked to changes in masculine traits, and for some, has contributed to shifts in self perception and identity, including issues related to gender identity

looking ahead, we may face a reality where truly fertile, traditionally masculine men become increasingly rare. So, to the women who seek partners with those traits, take note – the opportunity to find and nurture such connections may become more limited as time goes on. its a situation that calls for thoughtful attention to how society addresses men’s health and well being, as it impacts everyone’s future

The interesting thing we discovered was that, on average, when we measured the testosterone in the blood of a 60-year-old in 1989 it was higher than that in a different 60-year-old measured in 1995. ~Thomas Travison, PhD

Whoever is left will burn the Earth's resources in a matter of decades and then nuke themselves into oblivion over the scraps.

And that's how Humanity ends. Not because of cataclysms, diseases or wars but simply because the people who were smart and balanced enough to uphold civilization, simply self-extincted due to lack of interest in breeding.

Then the roaches can have a chance at evolution.

Hell, Humanity is very likely not even the first civilization on the planet. The Earth is billions of years old.

I mean, it may just be the natural path of getting to our level of intelligence. There’s no need to hunt or do really hard work, and if that leads me to be a bit more feminine and not want to have kids, I’m okay with that

It's a good thing Trump is back in office.

so some 60 year olds are tested without taking into account any other factors. yeah, like that sounds honest...

You may as well point to the fact Trump did get feisty with all those women after all and he's guilty on all charges.
As men are having less and less sex, right wing nationalism is also on the rise.

Just pointing out a funny coincidence

lower testosterone can reduce sex drive and impact traditional masculine feelings, sometimes contributing to gender dysphoria

I guess it's just human evolution. Testosterone levels are directly linked with physical activity.
Over the time with industrial revolution, we are ever more sedentary. Majority of physical labour has been taken up by machinery and automations.

So, maybe it's nature's way of saying "Hm, there's too many people on earth. Let's dial back the baby making speed".

Not to mention stress is at an all time high and trash food is everywhere.

I bet you my both balls. When human population in far future starts to dwindle, those in power would make it their topmost priority to save their own species by whatever means necessary.

At the moment infertility is indeed a growing problem which is further exacerbated by couples wanting kids later in their 30s.

So yeah, stress management and exercise is the way to go for the moment.

Let things get harder so we can be stronger.

The objective would be to cultivate and nurture the Übermensch. With the current level of automation, the common masses hold little relevance... so why would they care?

please not that the Übermensch is not an elitist concept but a person who transcends conventional morality to create and live by their own values, embodying self-mastery, independence, and a profound affirmation of life

Between synthetic estrogens being in almost all the water supplies, diet, and the societal factors that discourage being a man, one can't be surprised. Perhaps having to work long hours away from you mate, and not having sufficient time to bond with them would also influence such biological changes.

Good, you would need 20 Earth`s resources if even current people would live like actual humans instead of half of them languishing in poverty.
