I feel you, really.

For me it was even before video-games. I'm french and that kind of activists came for my country, arguing our language was "sexist" and so on. In France, french language is almost sacred, you don't mess with it lightly. We said them to back off, to stop their nonsense, but nope, they continued, again and again, for years.

At some point, I snaped and decided : "Ok you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you want war, now you have it !". Them attacking video-games too haven't improved their case either btw.

What I try to say is : they've messed with a lot of peoples for a lot of different reasons, peoples just minding their own business. Now that they pissed almost everyone, it's over, me and all the other peoples they've attacked will never forgive them.

Exactly like you, I will make sure we'll erase everything they've done so far.

A lot of it comes from people policing popular "social media" sphere, to see who is a foreign actor, and who sympathies with foreign actors posting ideas on public US forums.

I remember when Biden got elected to office, on YouTube there were insurrectionists threatening "I make your food" (meaning a farmer, or the son of a farming family) and that he would cut off the supply of whatever he grew ... imokying that his fellow farmers would do the same.

There was some ♥♥♥♥♥, four hours after Biden had been elected, complaining of how ineffective the Biden administration had been.
