Why do little kids play Rated M games?

How do parents miss that the game is rated M? I never played COD for a very long time because the community is so ♥♥♥♥. idk why kids play COD in the first place,

1. Gamestop does have a policy, children aren't allowed to buy M rated games unless they have a parent or guardian with them to buy it.

2. The child can't even hold the game until after they walk out of the Gamestop.

I don't consider age the factor... 12 vs 21, the preteen can still be the more mature one.

A parent or guardian has to purchase the restricted game for a child to play. If they consider it suitable, why not... so long they can tell the difference between a game vs real life.

I think it's also important to remember that children generally think that "grown-up" things are cool. That's why they'd rather play video games aimed at an older audience instead of ones made for children.

Yes, the issue only exists in the U.S. Parents either murdering their kids or leaving them outside. Every other country, totally a non-existant problem.
