Am I the only one who watches anime with english dub too? ( sorry english is my 2nd language)

So only animes that I can watch with english sub are:

- One piece
- Fairy tail
- Death note

Let's just say I can understand spoken english better than subtitled.

If it's more story driven, I prefer subtitles, but if it's more about action, I prefer dub. Voice actors aren't always the best at expressing the true meaning of the dialog, and trying to read and watch a big battle is a pain.

DBZ is the only anime that I prefer dubbed. Other than that, I like subbed better.

lol i agree with you there specially the new dragonball everyone sounds horrible in japenease, but thats the only one

Well english is my second language so I don't mind if some animes are dubbed in english :)

Depends. I always grew up with Japanese VA, but sometimes I even thought the voices sounded a little off.
I don't like Big-O's original VA so I prefer the Dub.
Case Closed(Detective Conan) I prefer Japanese over American
I am 50/50 with DBZ so I'll watch which ever. All the Villains sound great, but most of the heroes sound terrible.

I only watch dubbed if no other option is available. The japanese voice actors have an interesting sound to them, you can feel the acting in them. Sound weird in a refreshing way (with exceptions) while the english sometimes sound weird in a not as pleasing way, so I feel.

I can only get into animes with English Dub. Can't get into the show if I spend most of it staring at the bottom of the screen.

Can't even see any action like that.
