LoL PH from Canada?

Hey Steam Community, I need some help here, trying to play with friends in the PH through a program called Garena. I have been able to find my friends on Garena, we chose the same region but are unable to find each other in LoL when we search each others account names in the game. Is there any way, with Garena or not, that me and my friends are able to play together? tricking the ip? etc.

You can trick the IP if Garena restricts cross-region play. There is a software for it and you can google it. I personally tried this before to play a game that's restricted to US only when I was still in Indonesia, but you would get massive lag for playing in PH server and your PH friend would get massive lag for playing in Canadian server. I don't think it would be comfortable to play any online games with more than 100ms ping.

ok, whats this software? hamachi? and i'm ok with ping, as long as i get to somehow chil with them its all good :P

I can't recommend anything personally. I just googled it and somehow people say IP address changer doesn't work. I'm no expert on this thing LOL. I forgot the software that I used back then since it was 5 years ago. But you can definitely use VPN/Proxy + Google's DNS (8.8.8.8) to bypass region restriction. At least that's what people said on reddit. Not sure if it's true or not.

Are you sure you're ok with high ping? I also play a little bit of LoL and a lot of Dota 2 here and the delays would make the game unplayable since you basically can't react to anything.

Oh and don't use hamachi. It's laggy as hell. I used it to play 7 days to die multiplayer with my Indonesian friend and both of us got 1000-2000 ping even though we were both in Indonesia. I don't think they have servers in South East Asia.

I'm cool with high ping, I have a friend that does it from china to canada already, she still plays well somehow :P haha
