POE is a decent diablo-like. I would also recommend checking out Guild Wars 2 which recently went F2P. The restrictions for free accounts are mostly based level but as you increase your level it lifts certain restrictions such as unlocking World vs. World PVP and it doesn't cap your level or completely lock you out of trading/auctions like WoW does.
Also, if you decide that you want to fully unlock your account all you have to do is purchase the latest expansion and you gain access to everything.
Runescape is a good game. The combat is rather boring, but the game is full of content! What i like about it is crafting system...i loved leveling up my skills! Especially Construction and Summoning! Followed by Smithing and Farming....
There is so many useful items in that game! Funny thing, i thought the game seemed boring when I saw my brother playing it all those years ago. Then I tried, and I loved it! Oh, I remember waiting in line in the bank...and my brother passes through and asks "what are you doing?" and I say "I am waiting for my turn, of course!" and he tells me i had to go speak with the guy on the counter...
As for Guild Wars 2, it is not a bad game (I have played it and enjoyed it, actually), but I didn't enjoy the non-combat skills on Guilds Wars 2 and it is those skills I miss the most about runescape...
Before I forget: Thank you!
Runescape can be played for free (I should know--I played for free for a while), but most of its features are membership features. As it stands, I can't even put something in my bank because it is full... and i would have to drop/sell A LOT for it to be usable, as I was a member by the time i stoped playing...
Where do I download the 2007 version? How do I buy membership with in-game money and how much is it? I have around 2m...i suppose i could sell most of my stuff, but even then it will probably be around 5m or less...
Thank you, by the way!
If you do want an ARPG, just get Diablo 3. Season 5 starts soon.
Thank you, but I am not looking for an action RPG...
Wuthering Waves is MMO-like gacha game but completely viable to F2P without spending anything.
