I still don't understand what Fred was supposed to appeal to. The helium voice isn't funny and the crap he was ranting about was mundane. Seems youtube has a thing for massively rewarding people who put in little effort or originality, be it acting like an idiot on camera or putting a webcam in front of you before you start playing.

I still get videos in my subscription from a very prolific and very annoying channel that just puts out clickbaity videos where he just reads the news and gives smarmy commentary. I don't know how to get rid of it, I've unsubbed a long time ago. Do popular channels get to do this crap?

The reason that most crappy channels gain popularity is because Youtube's demographic consists of children and pre teens. Both of which love bad humor and genitalia jokes.

Yep. Famous 'comedy' youtuber with a tv show and movies is now a vlogger. And i REALLY don't want to listen to that guy talking about mlp for 20 minutes, which is probably what he does.

Those channels that make a generic video (usually Animal Jammers) with a generic name. I call it "Bait and Switchers" because once their videos get atleast 1,000+ views and their channel gets 1,000+ subscribers, they automatically change their channel name, description of video/channel, claim they got banned on the website, and sometimes even disable comments if people keep questioning what`s happening.

I. HATE. THOSE. CHANNELS. SO. MUCH.

And they usually lose subscribers after that, hundreds of them.
