Does anybody actually like EA?
I've never heard a single person in my life, say they love EA not since Battlefield 2.

-The Consumerist rating as "Worst company in America"

-Doing terrible things like this- 2004, Electronic Arts was criticized for employees working extraordinarily long hours up to 100 hours per week and not just at "crunch" times leading up to the scheduled releases of products. The publication of the EA Spouse blog, with criticisms such as "The current mandatory hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week with the occasional Saturday evening off for good behavior at 6:30 PM

-And 90% of the games they put out are garbage and broken with microtransactions and stupid things like "Delux edition" $20 bucks more.

I'm curious if anyone is actually gonna defend EA on this?

Their lawyers will.
No choice.

Love Bioware.

Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY half price btw.
As someone who's not blinded by hate on stuff they've done decades ago. They are pretty good.

Most of their games get support and the Battlefield series get exceptional support and everyone just gloss it over.

Also no one can tell the difference on who's in charge of the game. They all are like "It's EA fault!" when it's actually the Developers fault. EA are mostly publisher.

XD
They make ok games, until they ask you for money. Then you realise EA don't care about the players AT ALL.
Early Access?

it was meant as a joke. I really hate the use of EA to mean (Early Access) if they were both companies it would be a trademark violation
To be fair, they had an official return policy before Steam did...
Also I picked up Battlefield for for like $10 and I've never had a problem with it. In fact I would've probably been comfortable buying the map packs too if it was cheaper.

I think the problem with those two items is that neither item is related to the quality of the games themselves.

I had fun with Battlefield, and the purpose of a game is to entertain. Since it accomplishes that and I had no issues with it, I'd say it was a quality game.

and that is a fair and qualified statement...great!

I am just saying the two items (cost and customer service) always come second into consideration over the game itself. in other words, when it comes to a gaming company I wouldnt really try to make one look better than another becuase of return policies...far to many jokes can be made on that one

Newsflash. No one is the industry cares about the players.

As if they should. I mean, we're a bunch of sheep that follow gaming news sites on who to hate and who to like.
