Mouse pad will not flatten

For 5 months I have been using a Logitech G240. [gaming.logitech.com] The mouse pad is very thin, has a cloth surface and rubber base. The whole time that I have used it, the two bottom corners slightly curl up. I've rested books on the uneven corners overnight but that didn't fix it. Are there any other suggestions?

Purchase yourself a "Razer Goliathus Speed Edition Gaming Mouse Mat"

Those work extremely well with the Logitech G series line up mouse sensors. It will be smooth and fast, yet still have control. Ensure the edges of the mouse pad are threaded. This mouse mat was redesigned for that, due to the issue of edge lift.

Sweat and heat from your wrist with regular usage over time affects the mouse pad and causes edges to lift and bent out of shape. You can't reshape it flat again easily. Some try to iron it out with a towel over top or using a hairdryer to warm, then a book as weight to flatten, but that's still risky as you add more heat (which can warp and damage it even more).

It's much better to get a brand new one (ideally on sale as they can be expensive) which has a design feature for anti-edge fraying.
