Same thing goes for fried green tomatoes. Tastes good though.
Consider adding brown sugar, dark rum, vanilla essence, and/or cinnamon during the cooking process. Logically that would add to the smell and taste.
Some culinary experiments are best left for the aliens observing us.
Never understood the fried or grilled banana thing. I won't lie... I probably would try it, if it was offered, but I think I'll stick to fresh banana and banana chips.
But seriously, i don't think bananas are meant to be cooked at all. They are like nature's fast food...

Banana chips are delicious and healthy! Have you ever had banana poofs? Like cheesy poofs but dusted with banana flavor instead of cheese. I can only find them at my local asia market, but they're pretty good.
Banana pudding is also great! With vanilla wafers.
Bananas Foster? Never heard of it, but might try it one day. Yeah, just made it up as it seemed logical they would work together well. I've caramelized raw sugars, etc - just went from that.
