Star Trek Game

If any game developers read this, please make a third person Star Trek game, where you can walk around the entire ship, visit planets and discover new civilizations, assign your crew to jobs, and explore the universe by commanding the crew on the bridge, and battle against the various races.

All current Star Trek games suck, Star Trek deserves better!

This idea does sound excellent also sounds like the star trek stage 9. I think myself and others would love to see a bridge commander 2 or something along those lines or even a elite force 3. And this starship simulator looks nice i can already see the ST mods for it being the close likeness to ST.

I'd like a Starfleet Command game/simulator, but based on the old pen&paper Starfleet Command rulesets.

It'd be like translating "Battletech" to a tactical RTS-like game, which has already been done several times.

"Federation & Empire" is another old boardgame that would make a really good PC gaming translation. (Federation vs Klingons, old-school TOS-style)

Emperium Galactic Survival is what you seek. You can download ships other people made. I took someone's Enterprise and chopped off the saucer section and turned it into a Franklin. Awesome planetary attack ship. It's like Minecraft and Star Trek mixed. You can build your own ships and bases on planets.

The problem is that Star Trek is curently overseen by people who don't respect the established tone and lore and want the franchise to be anything other than Star Trek. Maybe if the people behind Lower Decks were in charge of the writing, or even Star Trek Online or the Star Trek Adventures ttrpg.
