It’s RNG mostly. There are certain factors that you can gain control over but the fundamental ones that dictate your success are often beyond the grasp of moderating.

I think its a little more complicated than it 1st seems. Some events are triggered randomly where as others are charged to be a certain way. Take abuse, generally if you are heavily abused the abusers are more drawn and attracted to you with no reason. Think of it all as changes in your EM field. When someone dies and brought back that is also effected, One of my friends kill tech on touch most of the time since she passed and came back, Dont let her in my house lol .
So in short it can be both.

It's even worse than that! Not only is control an illusion, this "you" which is supposed to HAVE the control is the illusion!

You have a body, which is physical and therefore ruled by physical laws, including everything which happens in your brain. You also have a mind, which is a bit more mysterious. But where is this "you" ? Are you your body or your mind? Or something else?

Where is this something else? What does it look like? Can you find it? Show it to me? If not, what makes you think it is there at all?
