50? Bomber watches are like $20, I figure a gold version is $30, the plastic version with a gold shell was around $20.

I have a fake-gold pocket watch I use daily. Casio watches to me were more status symbols than an actual watch meant to be used as one. Some look fancy so if you want to be fancy, go for it.
