Because I want to know how many of them are using mods. If it's more than 50% then i will cheat and install mods too.

You can see if people use mods or cheats?

Yes. Each mod on steam will show how many people has it installed. But that's it. I can't see their username or anything, only numbers.

Oh, wow, that's interesting. I know mods exist (I am alive), but I've never used them, so I had no idea you could see those things. I cannot help you, here, sorry. But thank you for your reply nonetheless. Take care.

You're welcome. Is there a specific reason you've never used mods?
There is steamDB that has it's own estimate on how much peoples might be owning a game but it doesn't seem to include the numbers for DLC.

like I said it's only an estimate.

Simply put, I am just naive about things. But also, I am primarily a console gamer. Also also, I find the idea of them confusing. Like, if I'm playing FFXIV (which I play on PS4), I'm already having to deal with all these commands and prompts and whatever screen overlay, and then I'd have to have a thingy on the side or wherever for extra other things? I'm too distracted on a normal day. So, that's speaking on today. I won't mention that cheats can hurt people or whatever because there's a time and a place, and sometimes they can be fun. For instance, the last time I recall using a cheat was to slow down time in Harvest Moon (on the *gamecube), because I couldn't go fishing AND mining AND plant chickens AND woo that sweet red head from the nearby inn all in one day.

I apologize for the very lengthy reply.

*edit, it might've been PS2

It's not that I care. I want to use the information to make a decision. If more than 50% use mods, then I will too, but if it's less than 50, then I won't.

Well if it is considered a cheat I don't know what kind of anti cheat where you play exists.

Just be aware people may mod their games and play on their own private servers.

If you are doing something that would be considered a cheat by the rules of the server you won't be able to hide behind "everyone else is doing it" logic.

You should always check the rules of the server you play on... they may even give you a list of mods they expect you to have.
