French getting sued for putting black people in japanese setting and changing literal history is the funniest ♥♥♥♥ i have seen this far

people asked ubi "whats your source" and the answer is:
"yea we have this lady that writes gay fanfics with little boys based in feudal japan she seems trust worthy enough"

your thoughts?

Games are fictional.
They can add whatever they want.

We don't claim ubisoft and its bs :selphinehappy:
Doubt it will amount to anything, people have been rewriting history to suit their audience for a long time now.
omg

the precedent was set by netflix rewriting the egyptian history, and being sued wasn't it? ah, i see.

well ubisoft does deserve it with such draconian use of drm.
They are being sued for a fictional character .... by Japan

I think my brain broke.

Japan better worry about all those counter suits if I were them.

The redhead revolt against tsundere Japan.

The term Yankee to mean delinquent

There has got to be a ton... they do not want to open that door.
thank you for the news feiqizi xD
As a german you must be upset

The adage “You may live to see man-made horrors beyond your comprehension”, does ring a bell :steamlaughcry:
I’ve been watching Rev before he even became a V-Tuber. Thank you for sharing, OP.
Except there was a black person in the Samurai era of Japan. People really forgot about Nobunaga Oda, didn't they? And all the opening up the country to the outside.

So, it would make no sense for Japan to sue France or Ubisoft about this.

So, someone dropped the ball here.
And it's not the French.

I mean, he must have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something wrong, because this is an actual black Samurai.
Am I really supposed to be caring about a lawsuit over fictional characters in a game?

I love a lot of stuff that comes out of Japan but this isn't one of them.
This is hilarious because Koei did the same thing to European history with Bladestorm 100 Year's War on the Ps3.

The Japanese revision of Joan of Arc was NOT historical. She was a badass who stood up to the Dauphin (the pretender to the throne) and spoke her mind about political matters. Something unheard of for a woman to do. She fought in the front lines in battles, and got wounded, and she became such a controversial figure in the royal court that they banned her from entering the palace.

In Bladestorm she was a typical traditional female according to Japanese culture who was sensitive, soft spoken, and relied on strong manly men to do all her fighting and hard work.

I remember enjoying the game but being annoyed by the cutscenes. It's not like I was going to sue Koei about it.

So it's hilarious that now they sue when the shoe is on the other foot.
