Actors are "cheaters" by nature; they can act out anybody and fake anything.
Lots of people cheat on their significant other, yet sometimes the other person knows and/or allows it.
Last but not least, if the cheater swindles others but is okay towards you, then there shouldn't be much trouble, in associating with them. With that being said though, i myself would never trust a cheater. I tried to, many times and it never went well.
Because if someone would steal or betray everyone else, they probably will with you too.

There's lots of those kinds of people, no doubt you've met some IRL.
No, sorry. It's a convenient belief if you intend to lie though. Makes you feel less bad about it.
that's what I can't get past with cheating, the extreme selfishness. you don't need to be here with other people; what you're doing could be satisfied with bots.
