I liked Dune (TV Mini Series 2000) more.
Maybe now, but back then women, middle aged women loved it while I hated it.

Captain America: Civil War
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
I started by reading all the books and whatever goes away from the book story is worse.
Sometime ago I noticed that the first contact with a subject is the one which leaves the most cherished memories. It happens that the Dune made in 2000, especially Children of Dune, is closer to how I pictured the story when I read the books.
I've tried multiple times but its just boring to me. It looks great but I don't enjoy watching it.
