Borderlands hasn't been good since the second game.

Anyone who thought that Hollywood would be able to make a Borderlands movie work has been sleeping under a rock because the developers don't even know how to make a Borderlands game work anymore.

This was doomed from the start by people who are out of touch making decisions based on numbers they saw during a meeting.
