The conservatives on here are constantly moaning about having rules to follow. They hate that they can't do or say just anything they want. All this oppression. All these evil rules are 100% created by liberals just to make their lives unhappy.

Judges: "Oh, you can cuss at cops all you want because they're government officials and your free speech rights prevent them from arresting you for it.[www.nolo.com]"

Also judges: "By the power vested in me by the government, I'm going to throw you in jail for a year and a half just 'cause you cussed me out."

Hope the dude gets his sentence reduced. That much time in jail over throwing what amounts to a little hissyfit seems a bit excessive in my opinion. 3 months is long enough.

Sounds like the guy didn't lawyer up. Thats usually a bad career move.
Also, one can object to the particular judge if there is some provable reason they wouldn't be unbiased.
