Amazon Gaming Prime - the Catch?

I just now came across this. An Amazon Prime subscription gets you a bunch of popular/AAA games for free apparently.

I wonder what the catch is though.

If it seems too good to be true then there has to be something stinky going on.

Anyone know about this or use it?

There is no catch. Games are acquired via GOG, Epic Games, Amazon app or Legacy games. Once you get them you own them. Titles are usually older classics or indie games. Nice add on for Prime in my opinion.

The catch is they want to to use storefronts that aren't Steam. They have a hatred boner for Steam ever since people refused to buy games in their launcher when they tried. The guy who was head of their game division admitted how much money they wasted thinking they could beat Steam and whoever is in charge now didn't learn the lesson. Just like Timmy never will.
