Sometimes they're legit evenly matched, sometimes it's some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about how Superman COULD go as fast as the Flash but it would blow up the world for no reason, sometimes Flash is just faster, sometimes they actively bring up a time when they were the same speed just to retcon it...
And people want comic book movies to have this kind of continuity; I just don't get it.
