For me if that was the only thing to change I'd probalby still be deep into WoW.
Our gaming club descended on the free trial of Wrath of the Litch King, with the explicit purpose of trying it out but avoiding getting hooked and making a real account after the free trial was over.
We invaded as zombies of course, because why not?
That was peak back then.
Totally different types of games.
Playing it now... It hasn't aged well, though. You're not missing much. I'm not saying you can't or wouldn't love it, but the experience when it was fresh is irreplaceable.
my favorite memory is probably the halloween event at goldshire. the whole town set on fire and you had to use buckets of water to put the fires out. that was an awesome event
Suggestion is to develope a healing class and hang back and heal in pvp one of the high up dps,
It can be fun, your limited to communication as a free account and can't add people but they can add you, they can also message you but you can't message them until they engage
Wow had some great moments, the pay to play subscription killed the game and became irrelevant for many when they had to regrind top gear sometimes days after obtaining them
