Politician's entire life revolves around lying. They lie like fish breathe water. Just because he steps down, doesn't mean they can't still do it.

I'm angry people would even assume a politician is honest. Specially an american one.

I feel like even if they tried to do a lot of the things in Project 2025, there would be too much backlash from the left.

There would(and should) be backlash from any reasonable person.

LOL It was not Trump that caused him to quit. Many, many others are attacking them. Project 2025 still thinks Trump is the best way to get the future that they want.

There's no way Trump could be a dictator in this country if there are a bunch of lefties. We're more likely to end up in a civil war. We're more likely to end up in a civil war if Kamala were to win the election anyway.

Wait, if Trump has nothing to do with P2025, then how or why did that guy resign just cause Trump looked at him? Amid backlash from Trump....

Project 2025 got too much attention. Someone had to be thrown under the bus. They will keep quiet for a short while and know people will forget them.

Trump being a dictator isn't the long-term concern. It's the lasting effects of the presidential immunity ruling and how P2025 will reshape the federal government. Trump's plan, and P2025's plan (since we're still pretending like they're not the same) involve shoving more power to the executive branch and tossing out checks and balances.

One guy stepping down is a "fall guy". They're not backpedaling on proposed policies. They aren't becoming less extreme.

I'm glad the word got out and P2025 actually hurt Trump's campaign.

We're more likely to end up in a civil war if Kamala were to win the election anyway.
In what way? There's already a constitutional crisis taking place. The 'war' is happening in courts as parts of judicial branch tries to hold a criminal accountable for his actions while other parts try to protect him for his crimes.

At least politicians have a reason to lie. CEOs just lie for money.

I just realized how boring Trump is to listen to. He has no genuine charisma and sounds like he's rambling most of the time and being glib. Terrible orator who talks like a cheap salesman.

There was already the Jan. 6 capitol riot. There's going to be a lot of civil unrest if Trump loses again.

This is truth. But his supporters think he is a genius. But you can't call them a cult.
