easy entry:

A meteor drops near the Tiber river and starts turning the world "green". A bald guy forms a cult around it.

medium:

Three alchemists, a woman with stained glass pieces on her and a samurai walk into a castle.

hard:

Seven parallel worlds, six women, one (main) guy, virtual mechs, AI, deadly nanomachines and space laser on a dying Earth. The main bad guy is named 19.
