That's a lot of time. Only coffee or something else?
i start to feel like im tripping at like 36 hours
once you get used to not sleeping its less stressful...
but before i realised it was the msg.... usually hidden
in things like noodles and doubles... i was stressed
because i was not sleeping...
msg insomnia is really odd.... you just feel awake and
alert and not sense of being tired... i havent found anyone
that suffers or realises they suffer with msg insomnia either....
if i was younger i could be out there trucking for days.....
Anyway, that was the plan but the plan failed miserably. Remember the Firestone tire issues around the turn of the century? Guess what kind of tires our busses had.
It became a 30 hour ride. We lost one bus pretty much at the starting line and after a couple hours of break at a gas station, finally had to consolidate, which of course made it even harder to sleep (I probably wouldn't have been able to sleep anyway). We had another tire failure somewhere around the halfway point, but there was no further consolidating so we were stuck at another gas station for hours and hours. I think we had a third incident but honestly I don't remember very much after being awake so long.
I don't know what made the breakdowns take so long. Probably some contract nonsense where the company had to have tires shipped from one specific warehouse or something.
I’ve had insomnia my whole life, it’s not uncommon for me to go 2 or 3 days without sleep.
