Respect and Based Common Decency

The word is diluted and has lost all its original meaning.

Every new online smooth brain (both zoomers and boomers) use the word now for just about anything!

It was fun 10 years ago, but now you are conveying nothing at all when using it.
If you find yourself using the word "woke" on a daily basis - you might just as well say:
"I don't wanna explain my thoughts and I don't wanna think"

It is also becoming a boomer mind virus these days. So tired of hearing old people using the word in every God d*mn conversation.

When the vocal minority that acts in ways that give the term *woke* credence I'll be more than happy to stop calling them that.

Until then you have a better chance of seeing God than me stopping calling a woke person a woke person.

people are mad a game about fiction controling reality has a transracial character.

and they're right to feel that way, games shouldn't have these obsequious riders. they should directly address the issues, or they should be unrelated fictional works (if we are even capable of creating such things.)

So, the character in question here was previously featured in one of Remedy's other games, Quantum Break, but in that game she was an older white woman. So, I believe the outrage people have with this is not that she's black, but rather that they changed her at all, and for such a trivial reason as to appease the consulting agency that Remedy worked with on the game.

It's even sillier when it comes to superheroes. I think creating unique characters is better than just making a copycat or just switching the gender, but, I don't know for superheroes so much. I've never been big fan of them. But if the essence of Batman is basically a rich guy with a creature of the night theme going on, I'm sure they can apply the theme to a female character while still keeping her more original, maybe something like a Sliverfish Girl.
