I mean I'm slightly surprised anyone would make it into a movie, just not that it's Michael Bay.
♥♥♥♥♥♥ (eh) toilet meme?
Just watch the toilet bomb scene from Lethal Weapon 2, it will be 1000000000000000 times better.
The theory behind movies and TV is that you can help a viewer release a fantasy and instruct them on "normal behavior" with visual media.
And it doesn't matter what the topic is, except for politics. You can make films depicting all kinds of violence, foul or rude behavior, sex, or even distasteful behavior, but the ultimate theme is pacifism and what psychiatric doctors consider normal by showing abnormal behavior in the beginning, but normal behavior in the end.
... when I was a kid, old black and white movies on TV showed the guy getting the girl at the end, and actors like Gregory Peck or Fred Astaire or William Powell showed you how to behave ... how to conduct yourself.
That's no longer the case. And sort of never was in an abstract case since the late 1950s.
So ... "toilet humor", to me, is nothing unexpected. I object to it, but then again I typically don't watch film or TV anymore. It's docs on YouTube, or how to on YT or other venues, or books, or games.
Interesting.
Skibidi toilet is popular across the world because everyone gets to do their own voice over, to explain what is happening, or what they are witnessing. So there is no language barrier, kids love it for that reason.
As a story telling thing, there is hardly any dialogue, its all action, if there is a story, its told by actions, almost non stop. There is no sex either, just robots and toilets fighting each other.
It's kind of obvious why M. Bay would be interested in doing a movie/show adaptation, its just conflict and explosions ad nauseam.
As an actual "show", its basically a form of scripted insanity.
There is no way an adult would pay money to see an adaptation of this. It's just a fever dream of someone incredibly bored, they managed to monetize it and its still going a year plus.
If you saw the content creators earlier random works (non skibidi), he has some pretty weird ideas, sometimes funny because they so absurd, mostly deranged though.
I still have no idea what this is. Just can't bring myself to knowyourmeme it. Feels like it'd risk losing IQ points.
The commercial feature film trend over the last 20 or so years has been for superhero films to recruit or inspire young children to think about a career in law enforcement or related fields.
A lot of that is because there was a forethought that the net would bind overseas populations closer together, which it has.
Los Angeles media industry is all about what I said in my previous post, and then some. I didn't go into film to be a therapist to TV and movie audiences, but that's what it's all about.
I'm not a Michael Bay fan ... so whatever he does, or Roland Emmerich ... Tarantino ... Shamalyan ... or any of those people do ... it's just sociology, and I'm through being angry about it.
Mister Miller, if you're reading this ... like I said on your forum, I would have done it for you. Thanks for all the great experiences you gave me and my friends with your media creations.
seriously feel the same, this is where i get off the train
most enclaves formed around one with tracking software and anti-air radars.
it's hard to describe going through all of that just so you could punch the porcelain plate off their handle and flush them, or the maddening fear of being pinned by a 500 lb piece of rib-crushing white while a absolutely rabid snail-person tries to froth lethal doses of opiates into your mouth while repeating a shock jock routine.
