Aim assist isn't going anywhere.
Also no aim assist would be going away when most of it the users on Xbox wants to use controller instead of mouse & keyboard.
There are games that allow mouse & keyboard usage on Xbox, and option to turn off aim assist.

Any youtubers giving out info are as usual being dishonest and spreading rumors that are often false for clickbait. Just like the fake rumor they spread about Microsoft making an offer on steam.
Yep, much like previous plans they have basically it means expect them to ditch it when customer feedback of requiring a console to be always online and using up your bandwidth to play a single player game gets tanked fast.
One of the worst things microsoft could ever do from a gaming perspective, they are already struggling and that would be a massive blow to their console.
Well you did say, and we were in agreement the next Xbox would be a PC/Console hybrid, and that's what they're apparently doing. It's not gonna sit well with your Playstation bonafides.
But this is a dream come true, if it happens, and it looks like we were right. So take credit.
It's more of a nightmare. Hybrids tend to do two or more things mediocre or poorly instead of doing something good. I know your not very technically savvy but this is one of the WORST ways they could go.
Plus if the rumors are true of them using AI and the cloud for performance it's going to be a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that developers are going to hate and that users are going to be incredibly pissed at, and it will hamper game development.
Everytime they try to do something online only they get hit with so much flack from their users they have to scrap it and redesign what they were working on.
To put it in perspective if a console has no Internet lets say it has 5 mcguffins or power, with internet and access to the cloud lets say it has 8 mcguffins of processing power.
If your a dev, are you going to build your game in a manner that it's only playable with internet? Nope, your going to design it so it's usable by everyone and build it around the lowest common denominator
Not just that, just imagine how pissed and awkward it's going to be to develop for with variable performance specs. Devs are going to hate the thing and Microsoft already struggles with third party as it is, it's one of their bigger weaknesses
Not to mention the consumer backlash being told that oh you paid $600+ for a console but can't even use it at full potential unless you connect to the internet and stay connected even when playing a single player game...
You seem to be under the assumption that I care about the specs more than anything else the PlayStation does. They get the Japanese games that the XBox doesn't ... that is and has always been the biggest selling point of PS over XBox for me. I can get the other games on PC.
PC=PS>XBox.
but if you mean xbox x it is between rtx 3070 and 3080
people consider rtx 3070 and 4070 offer you similar performance than xbox x
