The loach should be kept in groups of three to six individuals; therefore, imo 3 loaches and one peaceful betta would be perfect for a 20-gallon tank.
Not if the other fish is faster but I have no issues with the otto and shrimp so I will just stick with those myself - no more carnivorous fish thank you not after the oscar incident.
1 gallon = 1 inch of fish
Idky OP just doesn't go with a guppy or something - not as violent.
