Report a translation problem
If you use the microwave instead of a kettle, DO NOT add the egg before cooking, unless you want a terrible mess. Add the egg to the boiled water.
Why? Will it cause a boil over?
If you're lucky it just boils over.
If not, it might explode all over the inside like a Lucasarts hamster.
Ahh, that. I showed my mom a video of hard boiled eggs exploding on people who microwave them.
She laughed and told me that that only happens if you don't poke a hole in them first. She then told me that the same thing happens to potatoes if you don't poke holes in those as well.
Eggs don't get along with microwaves, both in the shell and not.
