NO. It'll certainly not help the world's population.
It'll only make it even more crowded and it'll cause the pop' to continue exponentially rising.

"Cramming" more people in an area is a recipe for trouble. Cities around the world have already done such damage.

We'd only be digging a deeper hole for humankind.

It's kinda funny how people pretend like living in the city is bad for the environment or something when ultra high urban density is good for the environment AND convenient.

Just gotta get some nice parks in there too.

Very few places do ultra high urban density in an efficient manner tho, also for war time (see Gaza) it leaves the civilian population very exposed.
