Cutting the tags off my towels

I am sitting here with a razor blade cutting tags off my towels. I bought a set of towels. They put permanent tags on them. Not the pull off kind like on a pillow. The tags are on both ends. Why? The hand towels scratch when you use them. With the tags on both ends I always feel the tags. So I am cutting them off. I bought them too long ago to return them. I don't understand why the maker wastes that money to add those tags. The cheap pull off kind would be better.

i mean, you can get a 20 pack of socks for $15 or a big mac for $17.

why do we wash cloths anymore. its not even time effective. i make 2 times that an hour.

The sewn on tags don't bother me. Plus they also tell you how to wash them the correct way and what they are made of and where they was made, all very important information.

So what you use a cloth towel once then throw it away? Must be nice to have money to buy new towels every day. My wife and i do it the poor people way after our towels get dirty we will throw them in the washer on bulky items and wash them.

Heck my wife for some odd strange reason even washes them when she brings them home from the store before the first use. Which is pointless when the manufacture washes them for you before they send them to the stores.

Not pointless. The manufacturer puts preservative chemicals into them. Same for clothes and all fabric things.
