Is usa actually capitalist or did it abandon capitalism in 70s/80s
Some people seems to say the reason Why USA have fallen behind its peers is due to replacing capitalism with corporatism or something around 50 years ago.

Focusing in becoming a service nation and abandoning heavy industry isn't abandoning capitalism, rather restricts certain forms of capitalism in favor of other forms. It is a stupid policy, but isn't pertinent to the topic.

generally speaking, mixed economy. but comparing to other countries, what i noticed is that the US is more "far" right economically (and ironically) because of healthcare.

my verdict is that it makes sense why zoomers are becoming more communistic in the US but doesn't make sense anywhere else because of this reason. and i wonder if this has become the new age of imperialism. or i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ myself

it's not really about capitalism. it's about how it was applied there. like trickle down economics... i guess someone forgot that companies do grow. maybe short term, sure, tech companies have become giants because of it. but nahh, people suffered from it.
