Women in the workforce struggling to find men to date
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gF1koNt6QYs

This is everything wrong with modern dating. If the man has to exceed the woman in almost every area, that woman is going to be single forever.

What do you bring?
I'm not the one looking for a relationship with a modern woman.
Oh yeah, "young and innocent" is more preferred.

The Dr. Disrespect preference.

Not my problem.

It's part of the problem.

I always say start with smart, funny, and good.

But it's hard to understand the wisdom of what is truly important when you're in your twenties. And our current culture ain't helping.

It's the idea that they want the answers to the multiple choice test so they can get a good grade.

But, having a good grade doesn't always mean one learned anything...

Yeah, lower your expectations is the easiest way to say it - lower your current expectations. Because what is important for a long-term relationship is different.

That is if you want a long-term relationship. And if you don't, I hope you feel the same way when you're old.

I've dated, lived with, and have been married to women/woman/womenzes...

I have loved and been loved in return. Never once did I ever lower my "standards." Never once were my expectations not met. Never once was there anyone at the time that was prettier, funnier, smarter, wittier, more gooderer, more worthy of being loved and to love...

That's the secret.

There's no multiple choice test to take, no predefined answers to memorize, no boxes to check. Sure, don't chase or choose poorly and keep your head. But, throw out all the "How To" books, all the "Dating Secrets" vids, all the "This is how to be happy" because the people who sell them only make them... to sell something.

Like the people in the vid, they're all sitting there alone, aren't they? Gosh, how'd that happen if they're experts worthy of answering life's toughest riddles? Meh...

Most of the loves in my life had to hit me over the head with it... I didn't see 'em coming. And, for a good many people, that's exactly how it happens.

So, one should do things that will put one in position to let it happen.

Problem solved, thanks for coming to my TFDtalk...

I like that. Especially the gooderer - it's a good word on the goodness spectrum. And good trumps most things in relationships.

Good point. Unsolicited advice - be it from book or friend - is more honest.

Yes. And they don't want to be.

Oh? There has got to be story, Morkonan. Or should I say, a parable?

Thanks to a youtube channel called self active protection and other channels, I learned getting involved in third party encounters can go south quickly.

This is true and it was created the problem was started by bad people (many women) trying to get likes on their videos.
Never heard of the "self active channel." Thanks for that.

I seen too many video's were men have been accused of harassing women simply for asking them out on date or even complementing them on their looks, way they dress or even smell. Then said female will shame said man on social media to make him look like a creepy guy.

Why are they still asking them out and giving them free compliments and attention?

Because it's what men have done forever... it's just these modern women don't appreciate a nice comment. In my younger days, I would always compliment a lady on her looks etc and open doors. It really wasn't a big issue back in the 90's. But over the last decade doing so can get you into trouble, can even get your fired from your job. I had dirty looks and been called a creep in public myself simply for looking in the direction of a female.

These day's, im not even interested in helping anyone anymore let alone a female in distress.

Another serious note I need to add is.... if you see a female in distress, if she is arguing with her man, if she is being attacked, being robbed etc, I would advice you too walk on by. In the case of her being robbed and/or attacked, ring the police but don't get involved.

Good advice. Calling the cops seems like a superfluous efforts. She's got this, remember? We're not supposed to be patronising and intrusive. Besides, modern women are superheros who can throw male assailants like ragdolls. I've seen it in movies.

I know as men, we feel the need to get involved to protect females

Such sentiments are common amongst men who haven't deleted childhood indoctrination from their minds.

If you see a female or any person being attacked or robbed, ringing the police is the best option all round. Getting involved not endangers yourself but the consequences of your actions can have a devastating impact on you family if you are killed, injured or even jailed yourself if things go south.

Yeah women in movies can kick some serious butt, maybe I figured women out wrong all this time:steamhappy:

If they're a career-driven woman it would make sense they would want a man that makes as much money as them if not more.
bro, those videos are all staged. they have scripts and they push rage-bait content.
I doubt it, dating apps are proof that having access to greater selection and greater quantity of opportunities does not at all necessarily translate into greater quality, nor into actual opportunities taken.

The woman who made that TikTok looks like a narcissist to me.

That doesn't sound like a partner, that sounds like a superior. I think most men would rather sleep with her than marry her.
