Everyone says they hate the live action Dragonball movie. Still haven't watched it. I did hear they got the characters completely wrong despite them saying they were fans of the show.

I have heard similar but far better regarding Death Note.

Also has there been an Appleseed or NInja Scroll attempt?

The Ranma 1/2 live action special.
The Space Battleship Yamato movie was disappointing.
The live action Ace Attorney movie was decent.

The Rose of Versailles: Oscar movie is widely regarded as being low effort junk, but the stage play is still a classic.

I really want to check out the Haganai live action, since Yozora is basically me, though I hope I'm a little less ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Maybe one of the Barefoot Gen and Grave of the Fireflies live action adaptations, but they would certainly destroy me.

Jesus, they made those?

Generally speaking, the live action Resident Evil stuff is all junk and only the CGI movies and series are canon.

The exception would be the Resident Evil stage plays. I mostly only visit St. Cloud Minnesota as an end point or starting point for canoe trips, but it's cool that Rebecca Chambers got caught up in a biohazard incident there (that was presumably unrelated to a holiday lutfisk supper gone wrong).

Dororo (2007)
It has heart. . . . only true fans will get that reference.

Erased is the only decent one I can remember, Although the movie might have been based on the manga now that I think about it.

I've seen clips of 'Your lie in April' live action, it seems interesting and carries the feels.

Yu Yu Hakusho was okay. I mean, I'll keep watching it if they make a season 2.

Solanin is the best one but it's based on the manga since there's no anime.

I've only watched one and it was Ajin. I actually can't remember if it was good or not >_> I think it was just "okay".
