How do you feel about magic tricks and watching magician performances?

I think it's interesting, even when you know the trick to the trick, the dexterity and social awareness required is impressive to me.

I like watching illusionists. I'm less of a fan of the street type which employ more "traveller-esque" tricks.

It's better when they prefer to call themselves illusionists and don't make claims about possessing the dark arts.

I do magic as a casual hobby but it was more for impressing people at parties. I mainly do close up magic or "street magic".

It's an impressive skill to have and its not overly difficult.

The worst magician I've ever seen was Randy Pitchford. Yes that Randy Pitchford.....the guy who produced all the Borderland games , Aliens: Colonial Marines and the CEO of Gearbox Studios. He's a 'legit' magician and he is awful. I actually got banned from the Boarderlands 4 forum because I wanted Randy to make a video of him saying he sucks as a magician.

That's because he's in fact a great magician. He made that USB vanish from his pockets into someone else's possession after all.

Really depends on the magician. If it's someone like Ricky Jay, cool. But if it's some money-loaded clown like Copperfield, nah.

I'm going to show you a magic trick, it's called human sleeping. I'll feel like it is really quick, but in reality it's hours of my time spent. I really have to go to sleep right now. Anyways magicians are cool, they make people happy.
