Any good plot-driven zombie games/tv-shows?

Hi, can someone help me find a good zombie media without any character relationships gibberish a-la Walking Dead or TLOU. I've kinda grown out of it and just cant stand it really.

Maybe someone knows a good media that is centered around exploring the virus origins or that just has a good story where chars dont try to establish relationships 24/7?

Zombie movies arent really about the living dead. There about human kind living among them hence how every zombie movie is the same.

Well, the fact that they're all the same is probably the reason why I asked the question in the first place. Cause maybe there's actually an original take on the genre.
