The Instant Pot.
Has it replaced the Crockpot in your house/apartment too?

How has it changed your life?

We still use both.

But the wife can make her chili in 15 minutes with the Instant Pot.

I sometimes still put pinto beans on in the crockpot before I go to sleep. But I can do them in 2 hours in the instant pot.

I use them both but there is a proper time and place to use either of them.:magic_wand::100percent:

I use both as well.

The instant pot increased my bean consumption and lowered the cost of it.

If I forget to thaw chicken I'll just toss it in the instant pot and then shred it with some veggies and stock.

The instant pot is dangerous

Crock pot? No. I never really used a crock pot prior. I bought a pressure cooker and used it for a short period of time to make rice, pot roasts, stuff like that. But pressure cooked pot roast, or pulled/shredded meat never came out as good as properly slow cooked.

I have an air fryer now, but not a standard one. It's also a toaster oven, and I can fit a 3-4 quart dutch oven inside it as well. So I can air fry some crispy fish fillets with some brussel sprouts, bake some chicken and broccoli, or last weekend I used it with the small dutch oven to slow cook a pork shoulder with some Mexican seasonings along with some zero carb tortillas to make low far, low carb carnitas.

So, actually it is my air fryer that has replaced any need for a crock pot. Not the instant pot. Seriously, A pressure cooker does not properly replace slow cooking.

Air Fryer is another great one for me.

Instant Pot = Forgot to defrost or beans or soup.
Crock Pot = Want to keep it warm for a long time or follow some weird trend recipe.
Air Fryer = Replaced my oven almost completely except for baking.

Yeah.. that's why I like my particular air fryer.. it actually does all of that.
No because I still had to wait for the food to be done. Nothing was instant with it so its a lie.

Many ways.
You can get severely burned, get electricuted, if its broken you can also food that is not prepared properly. There are many dangerous aspects of owning a instant pot.

Like having your food done in under an hour?

Both are goood, but have to admit the crock pot is a chore.

Instant pot is just a rebranded pressure cooker.

I reckon most have their food done in less than an hour with or without an instant pot.
