No More Mexican Pizza at Taco Bell
They discontinued the Meximelt years ago. And that sucked.
My mother loved their Taco Salad which was discontinued. And she said that sucks.
They no longer carry Dr.Pepper (because I guess it's owned by Coke and not Pepsi now).
That really sucks.

But now the Mexican Pizza?!? Taco Bell corporate sucks.

Here's some links:

** Also, let's not forget that they haven't served green onions at Taco Bell since the bad/diseased batch of green onions that struck one specific area of the nation.

What really grinds my gears is that, once upon a summer, they sold Cheesy Gordita Crunches for 99 cents!

NOT EVEN A DOLLAR!!!! JUST NINETY-NINE CENTS.

These days the cheesy gordita is like $3.99. Can you believe that? It's so good that sometimes I buy it, but then I remember the summer it sold for 300% less and get salty.

It's a shame. The Mexican Pizza was the only thing I'd ever get at Taco Bell for a long time. I'll have to try something else there. I'm thinking of trying the Nacho BellGrande to replace what's leaving forever.

I also remember the days when Taco Bell used to have green onions.
I used to always pick them off. IIRC there was a salmonella scare or something so they stopped carrying every onion everywhere until the end of time!

Wait I did not even know they had pizza. I wish I tried it.

Bruh. Learn to cook. Then you can make Mexican pizza at home and not pay out the ass to do so.

I would rather make a tostada.

The old enchirito I really miss. Before it was brought back in 2003 I think it's previous incarnation came in a perfectly fitting aluminum tray, and it was stuffed full of beef, covered in enchilada sauce, a ton of melted cheese, and three black olives, which their salty and tart taste really added something to them. Ugh. I know they really need to cut back on expenses just like every other business... but there really comes a point in time where cutting back costs you business.

Well, then make a tostada. Frankly, I don't like Mexican food but that's because it's not really my thing. But I like pizza, I used to work in a pizzeria, and let me tell you, it's a lot cheaper to make a pizza yourself than to buy one. Also a lot healthier, I could tell you horror stories about working in the restaurant biz, or from experiences both in restaurants and fast food.

Only one of them involves me, mind you, but that's because I'm the dumb ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who got his finger stuck in the lid of a pineapple can and had to get stitches. Pineapple pizza is great by the way, and I will not fight you on this as you will lose on the account that taste is preference and you're allowed to have one - no matter who tells you otherwise.

Taco bell is going downhill fast, they got rid of the double decker tacos. They are too expensive now and it's stupid. Same with Mcdonalds and burger kings, they aren't even worth it anymore. I am done with fastfood, for the same amount of money i can actually sit down and eat a meal that is way better and cooked by a professional.

I'm done with them, they think they can treat their fans like this, well guess what Taco Bell, you will never defeat the human spirit. How stupid do you think we are, that we won't notice? I'm done with you.

Sigh... I have been craving a Taco Bell Mexican Pizza but my only recourse is some DIY youtube videos.

All because the COO Mike Grams and Taco Bell executives think they know what is best "for the people".

I didn't realize Why they were streamlining/minimizing their menu (beyond saving their own bacon) until I started seeing the bigger picture.

Check out Taco Bell's new "Go Mobile" store idea:
https://www.convenience.org/Media/Daily/2020/Aug/24/4-Taco-Bell-Launches-Go-Mobile-Stores-2021_Tech

What genius.

Dual Drive-Thrus:
Have you ever been in a dual drive-thru? It is a logistics nightmare for the order taker(s) and the customers. Keep in mind that Americans are the best, most considerate motorists and are very keen at navigating curved drive-thru lanes and merging with ease and expedience.

Bellhops/curbside service:
Really? You're going to have your generously paid, energetic, young workers run out to someone's car to deliver fast food the always amicable customer folks? At 3 AM? I'm sure there are plenty of Taco Bell franchise owners that have state-of-the-art security and CCTV. I haven't seen one outside - ever. Only cameras I ever saw were pointed at the cashiers and their registers.

Web Ordering:
Technology is great - when it works. Guaranteed 5 bars always on your cell phone? Maybe we should all pre-order our meals a couple hours in-advance and online so they have all your credit card/personal info. for convenience. That will be great because people know exactly what they want and precisely when.

All I keep coming back to is the Bottomline: Mike Grams/execs keeping shareholders/top brass happy (i.e. minimizing overhead/quality/products whilst maintaining profits/steep product pricing).

Boycotting Taco Bell ain't good enough. Petitions just collate all the losers together. Cardboard signs and pickets never did squat. Maybe I should make an effort for a daily 800# call to corporate Taco Bell in Irvine, CA. They're paying for the 800 line. Might as well make use of it.

I still miss the chili cheese burrito, used to love that.

Not really missing much IMHO. It's not "pizza" so much as "tex-mex" slathered on a flat tortilla and called pizza.

Well, you can still make them yourself. Taco salad can't be too hard right? Shells, cook hamburger, some spices, the cheese put on the sizzling hot ground beef in the shell basket bottom, cooked to perfection. That cheese slowly cooking itself on that meaty goodness. And a bag of pre-cut salad mix added in. And if you desire it, sour creme or some sort of sauce or dip.

Makes the mouth water when you think of taking a bite of that meat, cheese, and lettuce on a corn chip. Mmmmm, juicy meat, tasty cheese, salty shell, nom nom.

Yum! Brand couldn't hack it so they quit offering it. I expected it. They do know how to get rid of things that don't quite hit the mark, like A&W and LJS.
