It's the middle class that usually pay for everything , they're not poor enough to not get taxed but not rich enough to avoid it.

Well I believe I am near the top of the middle class. I would consider myself rich because it is difficult for me to even spend all of my money. But I was in a bracket low enough to get the full check.

Exactly. we had no business giving out those checks. It should have been on a case by case basis. The government had no business giving "free" money to people like me all over the country. It was way too much to way too many.

Maybe. I've had three of what were considered "high end" gaming laptops at the time. First one was an ACER, second and third were from ASUS. Bottom line besides extra memory they're nearly impossible to upgrade. Plus the ACER messed its diaper and it turned out it was the motherboard which isn't available.
