I really can't see the difference between let's say real people and 'fake' ones from the site because essentially they're very well done.
It’s hard to match naturalistic expressions with a composite, so most emotional markers wind up exaggerated.
Impersonators and impressionists are often similar, same with many stage people like actors, musicians, roleplayers, etc.
In order to avoid appearing ‘wooden’ they exaggerate their imaginary feelings and try to avoid scrutiny.
Inevitably they appear more ‘realistic’ when they begin to express a true portion of their ‘self’ through their work.
Which composite fakes just can’t really do. Expressing their self just heightens the emptiness and drives it towards the uncanny valley.
there are some errors in them, especially the ears and background!
but still. nifty tech.
model agencies already exist that sell AI generated stock photo's.. the future isn't what we expected..
That is super creepy.
Heaven, I may have been considering your particular brand of inconsistent exaggeration when I said this.
But attacking me over it seems odd, as what I said applies generally across all artistic fields.
I’ll spare you a long rant about Inside Llewlyn Davis being about a man attempting to escape himself by focusing exclusively on his craft, and instead ask:
What about it made you feel it was about you?
Hide, they might send out a Hitman to take out real people. It's not AI generated at all!
But seriously, Nvidia has the technology to do this AI which uses your own image as well. What they can do is send your webcam at a very low quality with little bandwidth across the Internet, then upscale it back to high quality at the other end with AI. Saving on bandwidth and lag, etc. It's used for Twitch Livestreams and stuff like that too.

The same thing can be done with TV Streaming, etc. Which is used in the Nvidia Shield Pro. If you get an old movie or tv show at 1080p or below, it can upscale it to 4K or even higher.
And the more you look the more inevitable you’ll find someone that resembles you or someone you know.
I like hearing other people’s introspections myself. Not everyone does though.
Maybe that’s just the principle in action though, idk.
Welp that’s enough thread derailment for me.
