Ryzen 5 3600 always on turbo mode (4200MHZ)
I have recently came up with an issue (?) on my CPU.
Its always, (even when idling) on turbo mode, 4200mhz, constantly alternating to 3600MHZ every second or so, temps are nice, 30-35 when idling and 55-45 when playing resource intensive videogames.
should i be worried about this? for anyone wondering, i have my windows power plan on balanced i know i said i was going to use ubuntu, but i gave up lmao, too difficult for me, this ♥♥♥♥ is way easier and i can play rainbow six , i dont know what is causing this, hell, i dont even know if its an issue, this is a brand new pc less than 4 weeks old, any help is appreciated

I'd only be concerned if you suddenly experience instability or reach temps exceeding 70-80c.
never reached temps above 70 so, no problem right?

Windows is constantly running background processes, and the CPU is trying to accomplish those processes ASAP.

Try running monitoring software like HWMonitor for an hour and you should see the minimum and maximum speeds each core is going at.
If it's anywhere around the CPU's advertised base clock speed and max. boost clock speed, then there's nothing to worry about.

Depending on your PC's settings, it might even idle core(s) and make them run way below normal clock speed. But they should speed up again when you run more programs. IIRC a balanced power plan on windows enables this.

might try doing that, for now tho, msi afterburner says that every single core is constantly alternating beetwen 4200 and 3600
