I'm getting married next year but my partner is not a gamer, and she thinks gaming is a waste. what should I do?

Tell her a wedding is much bigger waste.

Actually this marriage is a waste and you can find another woman who understands you.

Keep some some personal pride or you'll lose it forever.

Getting married in a courthouse is probably faster ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

my brother has been married since saturday and he is learning to listen to his brother of 5 marriages. Since then he has lost all authority and control, my brother and I game daily but hes made excuses ever since the wedding. She sold most of his consoles and told him he can keep one. That bit of paper dont seem like much but changes everything lol. Your life is now hers.
Hear me out cause this is going to sound crazy, but maybe just maybe, you talk to her about it. Maybe both of you sit down and set some realistic and honest expectations for what life will look like together.

my older brother had to stop playing guild wars and gave up his PC when he got married and now play's only what his smartphone allows

I like this post but one wonders (due to lack of ages known) if any couple these days could even survive this scrutiny.

Middle ground is the real key as you and her have to remain true to yourselves as well as each other.

Whatever you do, asking Steam OT for relationshop advice is the wrongest course of action imaginable.

I don't get why people will prioritize gaming over life, I game a lot because I have nothing, If you think gaming is better than spending time with your partner, just don't do it.
