Why do people say that 25+ y.o is old?
Like no, I'd say that being 25 is just the middle of your life, you're still in your damn prime, stop acting as if turning 25 is the end of your life, you're not 80 y.o, you're still in your 20s, it annoys me so much when people who are 25+ y.o act almost as if they're in their 60s meanwhile they're still young, hell I even know a lot of people in their early 30s that look younger than most people in their 20s that I know.

Once you hit 50 then that’s old. I still consider my daddy young and he’s in his 40s.

age is relative... when you are a toddler of 5 than those kids of 6 are giants...
when you are a kid of 8.. than those kids of 10.. are strongman bullies
when you are a kid of 12.. those 15 and 16yo in the upper classes of middleschool are scary old.,. (and some girls of 12.. find it very cool they are so mature an 15 or 16yo boy wants to date them, while you now see how utterly immature those boys are)
when you are 21 a person of 30 seems ancient...
when you are 30.. a person of 50 seems ancient..

you percieve time relative to your own age.. so you feel much younger when you reach an age than how you once looked up to that age... ofcourse the people now the age you once were still look at you now like you once did.. and no matter how you try you won't convince them you aint old.. time will do that.. once they too got at your current age.

now in sociology :
(there are more early steps in psychology.. but I won't post the natal phase, anal phase, etc of development psychology here)

0-1 baby
1-2 = infant
2-4 = toddler
4-6 = prescoler
6-9 = child
9-12= preteen
12-16 = puberty
16-21 = adolecent
21-45 = adult
45-65 = middle ages
65-75 = pensioned
75+ = elderly

so at 25 you only JUST added adulthood.

my mind zoning out on a picture.
the cover picture of a game ,called deadrising released in 2006,picture of a man holding a TV above his shoulder ,against a team of zombies surrounding him.it looks as if he was trying to throw the TV at zombies.
and lots of other things on my mind, lots of imagination and things.

about age thing, maybe i should try to spin the globe in my readers head now,for them to see the bright side about age.i could do this,no problem,i have spin worst things around.

now.... there is also a psychologic thing...

if your 90 years old and look back.. that it is not 45 years that feels at the middle of your life.. it is 21 years...

this is cause our mind experienced time by experiences..
(most people have no memories from before they were 2 year old..)

0-1 all your experiences are new so INFINITE percent of new experiences
1-2 you gain as much experiences as you rememeber 100%
2-3 you gain only halve as much experiences as you remember 50%
3-4 you gain only 1/3 as much experience as you remember..

so basicly to your memory each year older only ads 1/age of new experiences..

this is also btw why you mentally age faster if you have a dull life and don't do many new things.. all those years that are the same blend together and a year well lived can feel as if you lived 10.

those new experiences still get reduced by your age.. but if you double your experiences this year than you get 2/25 added to your memories pile.. instead of 1/25... so it would be as if your in your teens again... for the mind...

so doing new things keeps you younger.. at least it keeps your mind younger.. your body ofcourse will age at the same time..

to me for example at 42... anything past 2002 orso.. feels like "less than a year ago"
so 1998-2002 feels a MUCH bigger timegap than 2002-2024

heck I have plenty of trinkets from 2000 till now in drawers like an old guilder, an paper card for the bus they haven't used in 20 years... pc hardware from 2004, 2008 2012.. and many more things.. that would be very hard to replace.. but I generally use as if they could be bought in a shop today. for they feel to me like I just tossed them in a drawer yesterday.

Well each generation goes through different problems other times similar problems, I guess stress is being a bit more harsh to Gen Z and Gen A, perhaps?

25 is NOT the middle!

You could say around 40 is going over the hill, but it depends on health. Just sayin, 50 is NOT old.
25 is old
