It is almost pure vaporware.

Think about it. Can you buy a loaf of bread with it? NO!

And think of who is obsessed with it: Guys who play video games 24/7, are 24/7 porn guys, are 24/7 animae guys... basically delusional types who think that they are somehow printing up free money.

The whole NFT thing? Proof that it's a scam aimed at those very folks were they were nothing but low resolution cartoons- again, aimed at that bonkers group.

There really only are 2 uses for it:

Paying online ransoms. This means one had bad privacy/security practices and can pay them out with fake money. Oh boy.

Or they are good for buying drugs online. Perhaps there is a certain class of substances that one is having a very difficult time getting from doctors ~2024 or wanted the raw powders to start home brewing... perhaps that might be an(very difficult to trace and prove) angle....

Of course one should respect and obey the laws and jurisdiction in which one lives and only rely on appropriate licensed professionals. Anything else clearly would be wrong.
