Star Wars TOR is another one where you can play as a morbidly obese male or a slightly overweight female. I don't know why MMOs do this.

One of the first games I owned had a fat protagonist and his attack was to hit characters with his belly, Chuck Rock. Back then it was the game I played the most because the other games I got were not platformers and I love platformers.

There are many fighting games with fat characters too.

Logically, the main character should be extremely fit with all her running and fighting, yet she looks like someone who is embracing body positivity and using lbs/kgs as her pronouns
