Years ago my roomate and I were huge fans of Iron Chef. So we did a parody one weekend and the secret ingredient was "hotu dogu".

I made, "Hot Dog Two Way." One with sriracha and the second with hosin sauce.

They were delicious!

I don't add condiments to frankfurters, I dice them and then add them to rice or to pasta. I do the same for sausages.

I do the same with sausages and mashed potatoes + gravy.

Thankfully most frankfurters are way better than UK 'hot dogs'

I don;t eat hot dogs.. firstly they are hardly sold here..knackwurst is much more common but even those are not that often served to adults. more like the stuff you buy to serve to kids when adults eat the real meat.
but well I have been at birtdays or church picknick where all they served was knockworst on a bun and than I eat some.. a man got to eat aftyer all. if condiments are available I pick mustard only.,


But to grill? never happens here.. we have good quality beef sausages that are made of proper meat and taste a lot better and are fresh.. not from a can.

and at festifals or as a snack when shopping.. you won't find them anywhere sold.. what we sell here is either a croquet on a bun.. or a smoked sausage on a bun.. both I prefer again just mustard nothing else.
