While losing your Queen is a hit, it is just one piece. Don't rely on just using the Queen, yes it is a powerful piece on the board but it needs the use of the other pieces as well. Chess is not a one piece wins all game.
Always try and play several moves ahead, both yours and your opponents, where will they move if I move here. This will take time to learn and the more moves ahead you can learn the better player you'll become.
It will take time to learn like anything else in life but eventually you'll figure out moves which suit your style of play.
Seems like a troll but here are my thoughts.
Have you heard the saying you need to learn the rules before you can break them?
I would say that is what applies here. Thinking outside the box is something you do in chess after a few years of playing. Creating your own strategy probably even longer.
I'm not sure what the computer means by a perfect move. You are supposed to memorise your openings in chess. You find a few that work well for you and for each of those openings, you have a general plan that unfolds from it.
chess.com has lots of resources for beginners or you can find a book in your local library.
Tbh. I can't blame smurfs doing those things like lowering their elo cuz there are lots of cheaters above, sometimes I smurf between 1,200-1,400 elo.
it had a setting I could actually win on.. and I could play chess and win against people
It's a tough game, I don't think I would play it online.
sometimes I tend to go with the theory that all games are made as test to see the user if they really feel like human do. much like the human check on webpage, those are intended to block off automated bot from using up the server.
I enjoy my little chess battles with the people on this forum, it's a game of watching them sacrifice pawns to try and ban users, how many insults can you evade and counter points can you dish to ultimately break the others spirit
Chess can be applied to all situations in life
I decided to continue and not give up while being frustrated losing games.
I have no idea what's the best opening in chess.
Right now I'm comfortable with the queens gambit opening.
Do you recommend me watching Gotham Chess? Or is there someone better?
Knight: You except me to checkmate the king?
Me: I don’t. I’m gonna use you as a distraction whilst I make an attack on the right.
