me personally I hate smartphones and went simply with a Alcatel GO FLIP, it can receive those SMS text and has a camera both filming and stop motion snap shot

25 a month data roll over and I dont plan to use it for streaming or anything
I can put my own music on it or even make video for it I suppose, have to see what codec they use.

They offer any of those phones with the plan

edit oh Ill probably get a drone and use it for that. Not sure if that uses data I guess it does if it links gps etc

never go with plan.

buy your phone paid full in cash.
you save much more that way by default (like unstead of 80 a month for 2 years its 1100 once)
and even better discounts with a bit of patience like when i snipe brand new released phones at sales for 40% off that 1100. those offers only at techstores not those who sell phone subscriptions.

only a total idiot gets a phone on subscription. at worst you take a small bankloan ans pay it back asap.. still cost you less than payment plans.

The plan is 300 for the year
The phone is 20 and done and I own it flat out

Just want an opinion of phone maker and who would be better

Cheap phone is cheap if I get the 300 a year plan

I think the motorla one comes with 128gig storage but only four gig ram
Should be fine though

Ill need to see if that is right the site is a pain, would be nice if you could view them by offer and compare them easily

I will check when I go and see what the storage is as well as camera

I don't expect it to do much than phone and text so I think low ram shouldnt be too bad
at 128gigs I could fit my whole music collection and some videos.

Oh yeah, it looks like the 'Play' only goes up to 32 gigs of storage, while the '5G' goes up to 128, so that's probably what they are offering. It looks like an overall better option than the 'Play'.
(looking at the Motorola site, they have a nice little comparison function)

Yeah it's not a good name but the price is right (might find a better deal on Amazon, but it won't be a U.S. company for sure) I think it's their entry level phone.

The moto g 5g seems comparable to the samsung a14 though I think the camera is probably better on the samsung
