Shaving is more hygienic as long as you don't cause ingrown hairs by shaving to close to the skin with a 3 blade razor.

Growing tiny bumpy pustules is not not so glamorous and easy to cause in the yoo-hoos area.

If those happen you will need to seek professional medical help to have them lanced.
